The tube is made of the highest grade aluminum alloy which allows the surface of the device to be black anodized. This surface treatment is molecularly bonded to the aluminum alloy, making the tube surface extremely chemical resistant. In addition, the surface is treated by a special technology so that no finger prints can be seen and it is pleasant to touch. The anti-reflection coating MB-5501 makes use of the latest technology in the field, and is applied to all optical components, ensuring the top light transmission values for the riflescopes.
